Characteristics
Brachoria divicuma individuals are about 44.3 mm long and 10.8 mm wide (females 45.4 mm X 11.1 mm). Color: 3-spotted yellow.

Habitat
Brachoria divicuma specimens were collected during the day (11:30) in a maple and tulip poplar forest near a small stream. Individuals were found on a steep slope near the flowing waters of Campbell Hollow. No other xystodesmids were encountered sympatrically. Note: Individuals of B. divicuma may be confused in the field with B. initialis (whose range overlaps with B. divicuma, but was not found co-occurring).Distribution
Known from the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee (Fentress and Morgan counties) and 27 km north in the Plateau Escarpment in Kentucky (McCreary and Pulaski counties). The closest known Brachoria species, B. initialis and B. kentuckiana occur about eight air km southwest and 18 air km east.Conservation status
Brachoria divicuma is threatened by habitat loss due to agriculture (especially growing demand for paper products), coal mining, development, and the invasion of exotic species.References
